Courses of the French and English Department

This module is meant to provide students/ guidance-counselors with the working knowledge, skills and attitudes, necessary to assist people and children to deal with the challenges and realities they may face in their ever-changing environments. The module equally provides knowledge of and serves as a forum for discussion of children's rights; barriers to learning, development and participation that may be the result of various environmental factors; disabilities, etc. In the same regard, gender issues with regard to educational special needs are highlighted. It also provides an opportunity for the learners to understand better the practices of education not only in their country but also other countries of the world. 

This module contains three components:

  2. Comparative Education
  3. Special Needs Education
